There are a lot of time signatures to work with but for some reason cut time or alle breve is not one of them. For notation reasons I need cut time and am requesting that it be added.

Mike, no harm done. You're new here (welcome) and in the Wishlist, it never hurts to get more support for a wish.
Moreover, I don't think this is quite the same. It seems to me the existing structure of BIAB could accommodate the concept of cut time. After all, the program allows doubling or halving the song length with ease, and even adjusting patterns played by RealTracks over extremely wide tempo ranges. It's quite remarkable, actually.
Now, adding 'odd' time signatures is another matter, since only 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4 have been directly supported since the program began. I see 2/2 as quite different from, say, 7/4 or even native 6/8.

Cut time or alla breve is still written in 4/4. The only thing missing is the cut time icon. Can't you just notate or say play in two?

Yes, good point. At a minimum, this request for cut time is a print request. I would also love it if it could be applied to feel, such as sambas at tempos around 110 for a half note.
