Salut,
Dans un morceau qui fonctionne normalement, souvent, une des RT devient soudain silencieuse. J'ai tout essayé, la régénérer, la supprimer, changer de RT, reloader BB, rien n'y fait. La seule solution est de créer un nouveau morceau de toute pièce.
Ca m'arrive tellement souvent que je suis étonné que le bug -si c'en est un, mais il me semble que oui- existe encore...
Quelqu'un a rencontré ça ?

Bonjour carolan,
Personnellement je n'ai jamais été confronté à ce problème ! Je n'ai donc pas de réponses à apporter mais peut-être simplement quelques réflexions pour essayer d'avancer ...
Est-ce que le vu-mètre de la piste RT concernée est actif dans le mixer ?
Est-ce que le problème intervient de manière aléatoire et touche t-il tous les RT ?
Est-ce qu'une sauvegarde régulière en cours de création permet de ne pas repartir à 0 lorsque ça bugue ?
J'ai fait quelque tests sous Vista et je vais faire des vérifications sous W7 ...
Je t'en ferais part si quelque chose m'interpelle.

Merci boowoo ; je n'étais pas venu sur ce forum depuis longtemps, à une époque où il fallait venir armé tellement l'endroit était désert... je suis content de voir quelqu'un répondre si vite !
Réponse à tes questions :
-quand le problème survient, le vu-mètre ne bouge plus du tout. A noter, si je regénère la RT, la regénération semble bien se passer, avec les indications d'avancement qui apparaissent en haut, le seul problème c'est qu'elle ne joue plus !
-le problème me semble aléatoire, mais on dit ça surtout quand on n'a pas établi le lien entre un problème et la manip qui le crée. Donc, je serai assez prudent là-dessus. Ce que je peux dire, c'est que je manipule énormément les RT à partir de la fenêtre mixeur, je n'utilise jamais un style sans le modifier 1000 fois, j'essaye successivement des tas de RT avant de trouver celle qui me convient, et peut-être que par moment je dépasse une certaine limite interne non signalée ?
-je l'ai eu avec des RT différentes, entre autres ce matin avec la 1856 et la 1543. Les précédentes, j'ai oublié...
-sur la question de la sauvegarde, je ne suis plus très sûr de ce que j'ai constaté (j'ai une mémoire de poisson rouge), la prochaine fois que j'ai le problème, je teste.
J'ai bien sûr envoyé un SOS à PG, j'attends la réponse. Si j'ai qq chose, je te le signalerai.

Je suppose tu travailles en BiaB? (Tu ne dis pas)
Dans ce cas, tu pourrais essayer jouer la chanson en Realband. Si le RT marche bien en Realband il paraît que tu a fait quelque chose bizarre en BiaB?

Oui, je travaille avec Biab (je le disais dans mon 1er post !).
Et : oui, les RT qui posent problème peuvent être générées avec RB. Est-ce que cela signifie que je fais un truc bizarre avec BB ? Peut-être, mais alors je voudrais savoir quoi, et pouvoir continuer à travailler avec BB, qui génère plus vite que RB et qui est bien plus pratique pour manipuler la structure de la chanson.

(je le disais dans mon 1er post !) C'est evident que mon français reste toujours la même, quoi?
L'ideé etait que si il y a la même probleme avec Realband, c'est plus facile à chercher une solution.
Je n'ai pas voulu suggérer que tu utilses Realband tout le temps. Je vais demander de mes amis en le forum anglais. Peut-être quelqu'un a eu une probleme semblable.

Edit : une précision, dans Biab, si je génère la RT en question, il le fait bien, sans anomalie. Juste, on ne l'entend pas !
On dirait que l'anomalie est liée à la piste choisie (guitare ou strings, par exemple), car si je génère une autre RT sur cette même piste, le problème est le même.

Est-ce que tu n'aurais pas simplement un problème de manipulation au moment de choisir une nouvelle RT ?
On a pu remarquer, par exemple, qu'il est nécessaire de faire "génère et joue" quand on sélectionne des UT sous peine d'avoir un disfonctionnement voire des blancs au niveau de la lecture de ceux-ci ...
Un problème similaire pourrait dans certaines conditions de configurations particulières (piste préalablement gelée ou effacée, ...) intervenir aussi pour des RT ?
Est-ce que si tu remplaces ta piste RT "malade" par une piste midi ou une piste User Tracks, tu n'as toujours pas de son ? La réponse pourrait déjà donner pas mal d'indications ...

Franchement, je ne pense pas que cela vienne de mes manips : j'utilise Biab depuis plusieurs années, et cette bizarrerie ne m'est apparue qu'avec la version 2014, puis 2015, en plus fréquent, me semble-t-il...
En outre, je me suis souvenu que cela pouvait apparaitre sans manip de ma part, je m'explique : j'ai un morceau qui fonctionne au petit poil, je l'ouvre le lendemain, et là à l'ouverture, j'ai une piste silencieuse...
En revanche, il est possible qu'il s'agisse d'une piste précédemment effacée ou gelée. Mais j'ai l'impression d'avoir essayé toutes les façons de la regénérer... j'ai pu toutefois en oublier une... La prochaine fois, je teste "génère et joue" !
Je ne me souviens pas avoir essayé de générer une piste midi mais la prochaine fois, je teste !... je pense que tu veux dire une super track midi ? sinon, comment remplacer une RT par une piste midi ?

Oui, tu peux tester avec une Super Midi Track ou remplacer ta RT par un nouveau style midi assigné à ta piste (menu clic droit : Choisir un Style Midi pour cette piste) -> C'est juste pour faire un test !  Bonne soirée à toi également

Je viens de tester une manipulation qui fait penser à ton problème ...
-Je pars d'un morceau basé sur plusieurs pistes RT.
-J'efface une piste RT (par ex : guitare) avec ses données midi.
-Je choisis un autre instrument RT pour cette même piste guitare.
-Si je fais simplement "OK" sans régénérer la piste, elle restera silencieuse ...
Si on lance la lecture avec "génère et joue", ou si préalablement on régénère cette piste dans le menu contextuel, la lecture se fait sans problème !
Ce n'est certainement pas la réponse finale que tu attends, mais juste une piste de reflexion.

Non, je ne commets pas cette erreur, d'ailleurs je me suis toujours demandé pourquoi un changement de RT ne lui suffisait pas à déclencher une nouvelle génération, mais c'est vrai qu'il y a une commande "générer cette piste" dans la fenêtre des RT...
C'est sympa de faire des tests, je te remercie. Hier j'ai commencé un nouveau morceau sans aucun problème. C'est toujours quand je travaille depuis longtemps sur un morceau que je rencontre l'anomalie, après un million de changements de RT...

Voila, je l'ai à nouveau. J'ai essayé de générer une super track midi à la place, ça marche nickel ; si je remets ma RT, ou n'importe quelle autre, il ne la génère pas, quel que soit le moyen que j'utilise pour générer. J'ai éteint le pc et reloadé W7 pour avoir une version propre de W et de Biab en mémoire, ça ne change rien !
PG m'a répondu qu'ils ne pouvaient pas reproduire le cas, donc dans le monde je suis le premier à l'avoir, ou au moins à leur dire.
J'ai essayé de joindre le fichier à ce message mais pas moyen, j'ai un message d'erreur complètement idiot sur l'extension de mon fichier... Dommage.

Et si, dès que le phénomène se produit, tu faisais un test en annulant ta dernière opération (qui pourrait être en cause dans le cas d'une limite ou d'un bug) ...
-> menu/Edit/Annuler choisir Realtracks
Est-ce que ta piste "malade" reste silencieuse ?

ROG : pour info, avec RB, la même RT se génère très bien.
Le problème n'est pas lié à une Realtrack, mais à une piste, cette fois à la piste "piano". C'est la piste piano qui ne peut recevoir de RT, quelle qu'elle soit.

J'ai envoyé à PG un fichier posant problème.
Voici leur réponse :
"The song file had become corrupted. We had to remove the bar settings, copy the chord progression into a brand new file, and then re-generate the style to get the piano to play. We've attached this file so you at least have somewhere to start when re-creating this song."
Visiblement, ils n'expliquent pas le phénomène, ils le constatent. Pourquoi suis-je le seul utilisateur au monde à tomber dessus ?!

Ouais, en fait ils se bornent à récupérer la progression d'accords pour la coller dans un nouveau morceau, mais ça tu le savais déjà au vu de tes posts précédents ... Par hasard, tu n'aurais pas BIAB installé sur un 2eme PC, pour savoir si un autre ordi génèrerait aussi ce même genre de problème chez toi ? On ne peut pas exclure non plus un problème lié plus directement à ton PC avec une Dll quelconque "détériorée" et devenue instable ! Le fait que tu sois le seul à rencontrer ce souci pourrait faire également penser à un fichier d'installation ou de mise à jour corrompu ! Evidemment, et c'est frustrant, aucune réponse dans tout çà  , Bonne soirée

Quand les autres sont autant emmerdés que moi, mon moral va déjà mieux !
Comme tu dis, faut contourner... créer un autre morceau et refaire tout ce qu'on avait fait dans le précédent. Ce n'est pas un gain de temps, et ça continue à se produire souvent, même si je n'en parle plus...
Le drame, c'est que je ne compte même pas sur la v2016 pour régler ça, vu que je l'avais déjà signalé avec la v2014...
