Em9sus4Try E9sus (sus 4 chords are neither major nor minor because they are missing the 3rd) Gmaj7sus2Try Gmaj9 - this should do the job since the 'maj' sets the 'maj7' and 9 is the same note name as 2 (maybe in a different octave) A6add9A69 will do the job here. Nice chord! Cm7add11Try a Cm11 - this might not be what you want, though, since it has a D note in it that the Cm7add11 does not. Emadd9Try E2 (since 2 and 9 are the same note, but possibly in different octaves, it might work) Fmaj7#11This is a long shot but maybe Fmaj7b5 might do the job because if my math is correct #11 and b5 are the same note but possibly in different octaves. John, also remember that many three or four note chords can be read a number of ways. For example the Gmaj7sus2 has the notes, from bass to treble, G-D-A-D-F# which could also be a Dadd4 or written D/G.
This is one of the problems that JonD, a keyboardist, and myself have. I will play a four note chord and call it something where JonD will find 3 or 4 chords with the same notes in them. We guitarists are limited with only 6 strings and 4 fingers, well sometimes we can add a thumb, while a keyboardist has 88 keys and 10 fingers to work with.
My wife had her driving test today.
She got 8 out of 10.
The other 2 jumped out of the way!

This is a long-time Wishlist request of mine, since this chord appears frequently in jazz fakebooks. However, BIAB does allow you to enter Fmaj9#11.

This is a long-time Wishlist request of mine, since this chord appears frequently in jazz fakebooks. However, BIAB does allow you to enter Fmaj9#11. Yes, agrees 100%. I miss this one too!
