I bought the Ketron SD 2 based on some of the reviews here and really liked it.But a a few weeks ago it stopped working. I got the the AJAMSONIC contact address here on this forum.I contacted AJ and was able to send him my broken unit. I was told that the SD had gotten a voltage spike which fried the power supply and that in turn burned out the main circuit board in the SD 2. So that was big!
AJ fixed it for me at cost and gave me a free power supply on top of that. AND they sent the unit back to me without even having received any payment from me at that point. Of course I just sent them the money via paypal, but that level of service is pretty impressive, I think. Which is why I'm writing this report.
The SD2 is a great sounding little box and I'm glad to have it back.
So to anyone who is sitting on the fence about getting one because it's not a Roland or a Korg....
Get it, the box really sounds great and the company stands behind their product. You won't be sorry.
