i have just discovered that the windows "metronome" works during playback, whereas the "metronome" does not work during playback (only during recording) on the Mac version. both versions are extremely lame, the mac version being more lame. i can not imagine how PG music could let this product hit the shelves with such a terrible so-called "metronome"! see screen shot of so-called Mac version of "metronome." the metronome should be front and center on the main screen, not buried w/i menus and sub-menus!
There are a lot of things that are behind in the Mac version, I suppose it all takes time. Can you just add a midi click track to one of the slots or an audio loop, just for now to get you out of the predicament ?
You can easily make up a click track as a UserTrack just have "Drums" in the name so BB don't transpose it, then just add the UserTrack to a slot. If you can't do this let me know and I will make one up.
A drummer in one of our bands really wants the flashing metronome during playback. (He's in his 60's & can't play w/o it. At least he is convinced of this.) When my husband took over the job the drummer was used to watching the flashing metronome--which seems to only work on the PC version of BB.
Please, tell me how to make a "click track" unless there is a flashing metronome option on the 2015 BIAB for the Mac.
If you make a click track, wont' it be in the mix with everything else and the audience would hear it?

If I can piggyback on this thread, I'd like to see a 'tap bar' that would indicate the beats per minute from my 'tapping' on my computer keyboard.
You can do that in BiaB now. Tap the computer hyphen key '-' or mouse-click on the small button (shown) in BiaB to set the tempo. You will see the displayed value change as you tap.
