Hi all,
I've recently bought an Roland FA-06 to replace my old keyboard. The sound module is excellent and uses same sounds as the Integra, which I naturally wanted to use with BIAB 2015!
Here's the rub;
Using audio input to my Creative ZXR card, I get out of sync issues playing both realtracks audio and midi from the FA-06.
(Using the same setup in Sonar Platinum works well with 2ms latency and 24/48 using Input Monitoring)
The FA-06 comes with an MIDI/USB Audio interface, so when I used this, it worked! I later figured out this was because the BIAB audio+midi output went to the FA-06 via USB and then midi+audio went to audio IN on my soundcard, so all audio was in sync.
Ideally, I would prefer to have BIAB using the FA06 as a MIDI sound module only and be able to sync MIDI audio IN with Realtracks audio.
How do you setup external sound modules so it works with realtracks?
Any tips or suggestions?

I tested Realband and it worked fine using ASIO Input Monitoring.
But why haven't BIAB this setting?

Have you tried using a patchmap for the Roland with Biab?
Are you running the audio from Biab into the Roland? Make sure that all of the audio settings are the same in both Biab and Roland. Usually the 44.100 khz should work and help keep them in sync.
Make sure your Roland midi/audio driver(s) are up to date as well.

Thanks, I tried that using the USB audio/midi cable.
But it would be so much easier if BIAB could do the same thing as Realband and support ASIO Input monitoring for best sound quality.
