I must have changed some setting, but not sure what. BIAB songs saved as midi files no longer have instrument patch numbers assigned. A drum patch plays, but all the other channels are just piano. I have to open the file in a sequencer (Sekaiju) and re-assign the instruments.
I was fiddling around with the settings because although I was changing instruments, songs kept reverting to the instrument settings for each style. I've been using BIAB since version 6 on Mac, and although I'm pretty good at getting stuff to sound the way I want, little things like this hang me up.
I'm running under Windows 10, 64-bit, under the Vista service pack 2 compatibility layer, per the Windows compatibility trouble shooter. Not that I think this matters, but who knows...

I don't know the answer, and I suspect other users may not, either because of the age of your BIAB. Also it isn't clear to me what you are running: is it BIAB for Mac running in some compatibility mode on a virtual Windows 10 partition under Vista?
Anyway, I suggest you give PG Music Support a call. They will know version 2008.
