This morning I get back home from voting at the school a few blocks from my house. Was feeling all proud of myself for doing my civic duty. My husband was just leaving so I walk over to kiss him goodbye. He smiles and says, "you know you're wearing different shoes."

So I look down at my feet and realize that I had gone out in public wearing a beige shoe on my left foot and a black shoe on my right foot. We both busted out laughing.

I was thinking after he left how everyone I saw at the school was smiling and asking "how you doing today?" I thought they were just being nice. LOL!

Fortunately when I left the school it was starting to rain again so I decided to come home and not go shopping. I could've been out there obliviously spreading pre Christmas cheer to people in stores all over town. grin grin grin

You also could have set a trend, just before Christmas.

It is cool to be honest about the mistakes of ourselves. Thumbs up.

That's something I would do....

As young teaching assistance at the University I stood up in front a class room of college freshmen and supervised the lab experiments for the hour. Near the end of the class a young lady stepped up and discreetly laid a small note on my desk and walked away. It said, "your shirt is on inside out". It still makes me laugh.

Could have said worse!

As regards the shoes I have done the same myself, both black but slightly different design from same maker.

Hmmm..... Between that and the shoes, I reckon the shoes were far less scary.

About a month ago I drove down to my 2nd ex-wife's house to do some laundry and I ran into her cop boyfriend in the driveway when I realized I didn't have any pants on!

My solution to that dilemma was to roll my window down and ask if he had a tire gauge I could borrow.

Hehe. True story. Oops.

Odd socks, one black the other blue, jersey on inside out, certain parts of clothing not fastened together that should be, jacket buttoned up on the wrong buttons, thankfully not yet tried the no trousers or pants one yet. Give me time.

I know somebody who wears non-matching shoes and socks on purpose, all the time. It's her motif... and whether anybody else follows the trend or not, she is definitely setting her own sense of style.

Which reminds me of the difference between "fashion" and "style":

FASHION is the shared taste of the masses

STYLE is an individual's unique expression of taste.

The difference between dressing like an idiot and dressing stylishly is often just the amount of aplomb with which one wears it.

I have never gone out without my pants on.

But I would like to get my hands on that invisible man who keeps pulling down my zipper!

OK, a random thought;
Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware
