I want to upgrade to the Audiophile Edition, but it makes little sense to do so until 2016 is released. Is there an approximate date?

PG Music does not announce new editions in advance however, for the last few years the Windows edition has been released AROUND December 1 + or - a few days.
I strongly suggest you contact Sales. They might be able to suggest a solution that will work for you now.

As long as I've been a member of these forums, there's always been a new release of the Windows version in December and before Christmas.
Based on past experience, I'd imagine it's not too far away.

I do look forward to the new releases of biab, but at the time time, I intend to buy it only if there are new features, new real tracks or other content that make it really worthwhile.
Hope they only release it though when its ready and not a pile of fixes that have to be applied within a few days.

Last year, I've purchased the upgrade from 2014 to 2015 on 11/30. If that's an indication, we're getting close

Rumor is; release is scheduled for the second Tuesday of next week.
Wonder how many milliseconds that is ..
It'll be here the minute it's ready and not a millisecond before!
These annual threads crack me up. Nobody knows the time/day until it is here. I've been here a long time, and I know this time of year the anticipation grows due to past history, but we never know until we see the announcement on the site ... PGMusic should offer pre-ordering (grin).
But then they'd have to tell us how many new Features/RT's were included ahead of time.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

I have a prediction:
Someday, likely within my limited remaining lifetime, the new version will be released in time for the USA Black Friday frenzy <grin>.
Until then, I'm content to jump to the upgrade sometime after the first week or two, when all the users get a chance to try it out and find any minor bugs that pop up.
