I can't figure out how to enter the lyrics with 2016 so that they show up in the lead sheet window. I used to enter the
lyrics in the notation page above the chord symbols, hit Lyrics-Line based lyrics-Copy line lyrics to note lyrics. When I do this now they don't show up in lead sheet window. The only way I can do it now is to enter the lyrics as either "edit as event list" or "enter lyrics at current bar". Then they show up. I have been doing it this way for 12 years or more. ?????
And....I and unable to scroll up or down in the lead sheet window, which I was always able to do.
Also...now when I "copy from...to" and include the lyrics,
it copies what I have selected to the entire song. For example...If I copy the chorus of a song to the other
places in the song where the choruses occur....it not only copies to those places, but also overwrites all the verses.
It just repeats it for the whole song.
This are all new issues with 2016

Hi LBL, I have never used line-based lyrics so I can't help too much there. (My work has always been note-based lyrics.) 2016 does offer a new way of entering lyrics, though, that might be useful. These show up on the Leadsheet. For bar-based lyrics... 1. The playback cursor that I've called #1 on the image below travels along a region that lies directly above the stave. Click on this region so that the cursor is placed in the centre of a bar. (On the image below, I've placed it on the centre of bar 2).  2. Click on the "L" I've numbered as #2 on the image above. 3. Now enter some lyrics in the lyric box and press Enter. These lyrics will be centred in the selected bar since lyric entry is centre justified.  4. If you want lyrics over a couple of bars, simply place the cursor labelled #1 in the first image on the bar line between two bars and enter two bars worth of lyrics. See example below.  Wherever the cursor is placed and lyrics are entered, these lyrics will appear in Notation View and on the Leadsheet. Lyrics for single beats or parts of beats can also be entered this way. It's very powerful. In a sense, this form of entry is a shortcut way of using the Lyric Event Editor. Hope this helps, Noel

Noel,
Thanks, but that is the "enter lyrics at current bar" method of which I am already aware.
I still prefer the old way and I still have the issues with the copy from and
the scrolling.
