Hello,

I want to install the VST GSnap.dll plugin into RB2012. I first click the VST/DX Plugins icon to open the DirectX/VST window, then click the Options button on that window. This opens the DX/VST Options window where I see the following buttons:
Save Default DXi Synths
Edit DX Exclusion List...
Scan for New DX Plugins...
Register a New DX Plugin...
Un-Register a DX Plugin...
Run DirectX Diagnostic Tool...
Remove VST Plugin (from list)...
Cancel
Since there is nothing that says something like install/register a new VST plugin I instead clicked Register a New DX Plugin... and navigated to the GSnap.dll file and selected it. It didn't like the 64-bit version so I selected the 32-bit version instead. I then got a System Error code 127, which said the specified procedure could not be found. However, I'm actually thinking there should have been a button for installing a VST plugin and that's the real problem. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ray

Go to the DX plugins window
Use the drop down to select a plugin (don't use the Options button)
Scroll to the bottom of this list and select 'Add Vsti Plugin'
Navigate to the installed .dll file

It will then be available in the future wen using the drop down to select a plugin.

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Hi motte,

I'm not sure if you are aware but this is the English forum.

When I use Google translate it gives me...

"supports Band in a Box, the new interface from Steinberg VST 3would like to use the Hallion 2 as Syhnty"

...which doesn't seem to help me understand what problem you are facing. Are you able to give some more information?

Regards,
Noel

Hi Noel
that is the problem with languages that are not spoken/written in a correct way. A local national will understand. The above example is not intelligable for machine translation.

"unterstützt Band in a Box die neue Schnittstelle von Steinberg VST 3?
[Ich] möchte gerne den Hallion 2 als Syhnty [Synthesizer] einsetzen."

"Does Band in a Box support Steinberg's new VST3 interface?
I would like to use Hallion 2 as a Synthesizer."

But you are correct, motte should use either the German forum or the English language.
