429 running without issues (so far) with XP Pro and a Geekbench of 4425.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for fixing the low res (1024 x 768) screen Options-Prefs-Display "freeze" issue.
RT numbering system in the Real Track Picker listing is there OK with XP Pro.
DL Manager is much better. Regards Ian Can someone have a look at my email please regarding WEIRD SOUNDS ON HELD NOTES? (not a 429 issue - its been around a while)
Old Guys Rule.The older I get,the better I was! BB2023 ULTRA, 1013, Win 7 and 10
Thank you for build 429, it has cleared up several issues, in particular the display options window is now visible on my 1366X768 laptop.
Now is the time to fix several other problems that appeared in 2016 that were all OK in 2015.
Stylepicker
When you open the Stylepicker, the current song style should be highlighted at the top of the page instead of being buried down the list. When you select a 4 bar audition using the current song the tempo of the song should NOT change to the tempo of the new style. Most users will already have decided on the song tempo and it should not change every time you try a new style.
Chord Sheet
Bars changed with F5 should be more clearly marked with a thicker line. Chord text for holds etc should be colored to make it more visible. Stuttering is still a problem when the chord sheet refreshes with slower computers and I have emailed PG support on this issue. I am using a temporary workaround by shrinking the bar size so small (with the new display options) that the page never refreshes. However I still get stuttering with multi RT styles when the first bar plays. I have stripped my laptop of every non essential program and run BIAB only and followed every suggestion made to solve this problem. My Geekbench is 2269 and PG still says that 1500 is the minimum. I am wondering whether with the latest display changes BIAB has reached a tipping point where 1500 is no longer enough. I wonder whether PG has actually tested 2016 on a slower computer.
I just upgraded, and did all the updates including this one. I still have a few rt/N/A styles that are not playing. When I go to what addons do I have....they all show up. I particularly was hoping to use the songwriter guitar style and it gives me a pop up with the rt number and tells me I don't have that style. Very confused. Don't know if it is still needing a fix or if it is just me.
You need to search the bb folder for the N/A style files i.e. _NAME.sty. Don't forget the "_" for a realstyle. If you find other files like _NAME.wma or _NAME.stx then your system probably tried to load the N/A file at sometime but for some reason the actual style file is missing. If there is no trace of any version of the file name then you probably never received and tried to load the style file. At least you now know how to proceed when talking to PG.
I think you will find there are always a couple of N/A's - go figure! Just another joy of BIAB.
Welcome to the forum. Please note that since 2016 was released in addition to the Band-in-a-Box (BiaB) and RealBand updates there has also been a RealTracks update. One issue the RealTracks update addresses is N/A.

Tami, If there are only a few N/A styles on your system, are you able to list them here?
BIAB & RB2025 Win.(Audiophile), Sonar Platinum, Cakewalk by Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M Monitors, Pioneer Active Monitors, AKG K271 Studio H'phones
Howdy, I use F10 to repeat a hilighted section (often with the woodshedding option) a lot. In the past I would use the space bar to stop in the middle of a looped section. It seems that now, the hilighted section "un-hilights" when the space bar is hit.
Is this normal, a bug or a setting that I had set in the past and has been "unset" with the update?
