Hello,
From the Real Band Style Picker I selected style =Sugage Pop RT 4 .
When I click on the play button to preview the style I don't hear anything.
This doesn't seem normal or am I missing something?

This style loads and plays in my RealBand.
Does it play in Band-in-a-Box?
Do the single instruments play in general?

He's talking about the preview button inside the Stylepicker, not using the style itself.
I've run across a couple that didn't want to play there also.
The Sugage style has an equal sign in front of it. That means it is a combo MIDI/RT style (and may not have a WMA file as a preview sample).
I think this might be because your MIDI sounds may vary from anything PGMusic supplied. Just a guess.

I did not realise the preview. But the question about BIAB is important. The StylePicker there shows two yellow message windows: - There are no demos available for this style, on disk or on Internet [03.01.2016 20:41:10] - http://demos.pgmusic.com/audio/allstyledemos2/=SUGAGE.wma . No demo for this style is available on the Internet [03.01.2016 20:41:10]

It cannot be previewed in BIAB or Real Band.
During preview I get the yellow error message in BIAB but nothing in Real Band. Real Band should also display an error message.
It DOES load and play in BIAB and Real Band which is good.
In the Style Picker list there should be an indication that certain styles can not be previewed so that the user doesn't think there is an issue or wastes their time chasing down false issues.
What do you all think?

Yes. The StylePicker is proabaly a module and it should function the same in both programs.
For quite a while I wish that BIAB and RB grow together. No, I don't want a melting pot program. I want that the same features and similar features look and feel the same in both programs.

you can generate it then save it in C:\bb\RealTracks\Data\Style Demos Audio\
8.3 style name as wma but you can't load the style demo in real band only band in a box unless you do a search in the bb folder

Thanks pipeline.
I know that I can hear it in BIAB or Real Band if I generate the tracks.
I don't understand why there isn't a warning generated in Real Band when a certain style cannot be previewed.
It gives the user a feeling that something is not working properly when in fact it is.

We will fix the demo issue. FYI all styles *should* have an online preview (wma) demo. It looks like the new StylePicker has found a few styles that previously didn't have StylePicker entries, and those are missing demos.
