I use custom windows setups (File\Window Setup\Load Window Setup\File Name)
for recording. Problem is when opening a file, the “Open” window goes behind all other windows. It may not happen the first time a file is opened, but when the problem starts, it repeats continuously. This requires closing other windows to get to the "Open" window to see and open a file name. This doesn’t seem to happen if the program windows are defaulted. This has been reported elsewhere and has never been fixed. The "Open" file window should always appear on top regardless of configuration. I’ll send to pg support for attention.

I agree 100% however you can get to any open window by using the task manager ALT/CTRL/DEL Select Start Task Manager, click on the applications tab, right click the window you want to see. Then choose bring window to front. Very inconvenient, however all windows remain open. On WIN machines this helps to complete an operation and save the file keeps all active windows open.
