I would love to use Jukebox but cannot get to grips with a basic problem that if it gets interrupted in the middle of a set the sequence is destroyed and you have to start again from the begining. This is clearly unacceptable in the middle of a performance .
Perhaps it is just me but sooner or later I end up deliberately or inadvertantly interrupting a song and then my set is history. I might make a mistake at the beginning of a song or inadvertently touch my foot pedal (which send space bar signal), there are lots of reasons. I know there are enthusiastic users of Jukebox so how do you cope with this problem?
For what it's worth I have been asking for years for a way of locking the Jukebox once it starts so that it can be restarted at the same place if it gets interrupted.

When the interruption happens, hit Shift+F3 to access the set ("Favorites"), then click on the song in the list that you want to play next, and then click on Jukebox. Once you start it, it will start at that song you selected and continue through the rest of the set list.
By the way, I always use the pause feature in preferences so that each song in the list won't begin until I press the spacebar or footswitch. If you are also doing that, then when you do what I said above, you'll still need to press the spacebar or footswitch to actually resume playing.
It would be nice if there were a "Resume Set" command on the main screen (chord chart) so that whenever we have an unplanned interruption, we could pick up where we left off, perhaps automatically restarting the song that was interrupted and continuing down the set list from that point.

Thanks for that work around. I have never used favorites as a way of controlling Jukebox but your method works well. Yes, I always use "pause until midi....." without this feature Jukebox would be impossible. Tony

I've just set this up and it's working a treat. You do have to set up your set list as a favourite in the SHIFT F3 setting. You seem to have to add each file individually and then they are in reverse order, so put them in backwards or move them around one by one. It takes a bit of time, but it's straightforward. Then you save the favourites eg gig.fst. Once it is loaded from favourites, it will appear in Jukebox. If you need to stop Jukebox just select SHIFT F3 (Favourites) and the song you want and hit the juk button in Favourites (SHIFT F3) and jukebox continues from that song. I think that's the correct process. Sp far so good. Will try it live tonight.

Hey Silver Fox. You have some great ideas. Since it's too much rigamarol to do what y'all are doing with the jukebox I use a different method. (at least, I used to) I use BB strictly as a creation tool. Then I use RB and a couple other tools to finish my backing track. There is another program I use (can't think of the name at the moment) that has a very cool karaoke system. I can make my karaoke tracks by first laying out the words on a sheet. Then with this karaoke tool I can time the words to where the music is playing simply by clicking the mouse at the apporpriate spot. When finished I can save it. Now for using the karaoke track. (Man I wish Pgmusic would change the Lyrics writing into this type of system.) Anyway, I can then take all the songs I want to use in a gig and import each name into it. I can hit play and the words jump up on the screen. It will read in any direction I want so it's perfect for me. Funny. I just went on a google search and couldn't find the software. They may have gone out of business. They used the name, "Daly Lama" in it when it opened. I have it on my studio computer so I know I have it. Anyway, back to my arrangement. I can load whatever song I want in whatever order I wish. I can grab a song in the list and slide it into a new area to play now if it's requested, etc. It has its quirks too.  But it's mostly just dependable. If I stop the song for some reason it will resume when I hit the spacebar. It's just simple in operation. Anyway, that's how I do karaoke. That's my story and I'm s-s-s-s-t-tickin' to it.

If you add songs to your set list using the APPEND button, they won't be in reverse order. Each added song will appear at the end of the list.
This is a very short, simple, and quick process IMHO and works quite well.

I've never used Jukebox, so I can't comment on that.
Here's what I use. I save all my songs as WAV files and then make copies of them and name them 01.wav, 02.wav, etc..., based on the order of the program. I then built a simple website, that runs on my laptop, that accesses the WAV files based on those files names. When I'm ready to go, I open the browser, hit enter and the first song kicks off. When I'm ready for the next song, just hit enter again and continue through the whole set this way. This has really simplified things on stage.

Ok, Append will save time.:-) I basically can't use mp3, wav, etc for what I want as I have my midi controls embedded in BIAB, so I'm sticking to running BIAB files only. I could do it in Realband, but it's working fine now in BIAB. I do use wav files when I'm just using BIAB for backing without automatic harmonies, patch changes etc.
