I get this 0043abd6 error when trying to print to pdf file.I can save the pdf but this comes up every time.It says printer is not currently printing at:0043abd6 The printer works fine any help would be great. I'm using biab 2016

Jim,
What pdf printer do you use? Has there been a time when you did not get that error with the pdf printer driver you are using?

Like Noel mentioned, it will be important to know exactly what printer Driver you are using. Also what is your Windows version details, and have you upgraded Windows recently (since last time the printer driver worked)?

It's a old Epson R200 the driver is 6.1.7600.16385 the driver date is 6/21/2006. It won't let me update it.Windows 7 is up to date. I my need a new printer. It prints pdf files fine from acrobat. It does print the pdf in biab but it brings up that error every time.

Jim,
Did you install the pdf995 driver? I've never used it. As mentioned above, I use Bullzip. What then happens is that I simply select 'Bullzip' as my printer and use the regular print button. (This would be how you'd use Adobe Acrobat too.)

I installed the pdf995 all I wanted to do was save the pdf files then I can print them from acrobat.With 995 I can save the files and then print them. This pop up error is just something I hate to see every time I open the pdf save screen.I never tried Bullzip how do I get biab to see it ?

I have acrobat 9.5 I would not want anything to change the way I can print from that program.

Hi Jim,
Nothing will change the way Acrobat works. Is your version of acrobat, the full program (i.e. creates pdf files as well as reads them) or simply the free pdf reader and printer that is available over the internet? If it's the full version, you would be able to use it to create pdf files from BIAB. To do that...
1. Go to Lead Sheet view.
2. Click on "Print".
3. When the print options window pops up, click on "Setup Printer".
4. Now select "Adobe" from the list of printers in the dropdown menu (if you've installed Bullzip, this will also appear here as a printer in this menu).
5. 'OK' your way back to the print options window.
6. Now click on print. It will take 30 seconds or so but the pdf print driver will now create a pdf file.
