Sergio, I like your song and I always like your playing. I am hearing distortion bleeding across the drums and other instruments. Maybe too much compression in the mastering phase. It will be interesting to hear if anyone else comments on this because it could be my hearing. I have been battling a similar problem in a song I have been working on. I do enjoy listening to you. Sergio I enjoyed your song. You always do a good job with your guitar. Like Tom said, I do hear some distortion but I like your choice of instruments to go along with your guitar playing.

Nice work again Sergio!
we agree with the others that there may be a little bit too much compression on the mix (or maybe the mixing levels were a little bit too high?)

Hey Sergio,

As always I love your guitar playing and the artistry. Good job.

In terms of the mix everything is pushed up so high (especially the guitar) that you get that "thick as a brick" .wav form where the guitar actually gets lost in the shuffle. If you listen to a lot of Santana, you may walk away thinking he was loud in the mix, but actually he is LOWER than some of the other stuff--lower than you think. Go check out any famous Santana tune and listen to how the drums, bass and guitar and percussion are mixed. Very interesting.

So, I would experiment with panning experiments and EQing on the other instruments, and also experiment with the effects on your guitar to see which effects style (or pedal arrangement) "cuts" through the most without requiring unnecessary volume. At the mastering stage, you might want to try the various stereo enhancement pre-sets that come with a program like Ozone.

I am only saying this because you are a great composer and guitarist and you want to make sure that the labor of love on your fret board comes through as beautifully as it can.

Great job as always.

Another nice one Sergio with your signature tone and
fine playing. There is a lot of compression but that
may very well be what you had in mind for the mix.

As always it is a treat to listen
to you play and we really enjoyed the feel
of the song. The piano interlude is really
cool.

Nice!

Sergio,
Nice melodic playing over a pleasant progression and some good repeating runs and ideas in there.
