Finally got around to installing BIAB 2016 (or trying to) and I got about 98% done and I got this error: device i/o error \bb\rvibes03.xt2. I am trying to determine if it is my hard drive or the bb usb drive. Anyone seen this before?
I would assume that PGM is closed until monday. BIAB 2016 will run as is and I would rather copy those last 2% of files manually instead of re-running the marathon install.

Copy that file over manually and see if it goes. If the error is on the external drive Windows should tell you.

It seems like I was able to copy all the loose files in bb\ over to my hard drive. If anything comes up missing, I just get those files off the USB drive at a later time.
Maybe I'll run a full chkdsk on my hard drive sometime this weekend.

Kevin, Microsoft have a little folder synchronising program called SyncToy. It's great at finding the files that are not synchronised between two locations. This might be useful to find out if any files are missing from the installation. I use it to keep the backup of my song files up to date. Regards, Noel

Kevin, To compare the locations, use the Echo option with the USB drive as 'Left' your hard drive as 'Right' and then run Preview. I've found it a great tool. Noel

The echo option says it makes changes -- I don't see the preview option. Right now I just want to see the differences.
EDIT: Nevermind, I had to go further along to see the preview option.
