Ok, so I'm a total newbie. I bought BB14 a couple years ago and in the style picker, none of the Realtracks would work - it always just pops up the yellow box that says 'realtracks not found'. I didn't really have time to fool with it at the time. Now I upgraded to 16 and applied the 431. I purchased some realtracks and loaded them. I can see them in my bb/realtracks folder, and my preferences are set to that folder. But when I try to select one of the new realtracks I just purchased, I get the same yellow box that says realtracks not found. What's the deal? thanks!
Should have mentioned it. I've done the rebuild over and over. Here is an example of one of the messages I get. Plus in the Style picker, all of my realtracks start with [RT N/A]. Does that mean anything? I bought RT 249. So does the message mean I also have to have bought #33 for 249 to work?
It sounds like you purchased one of the entry level versions of the software. If so, not all the Realtracks will be present. The UltraPlusPak is the cheapest deal that contains all Realtracks (over 2,000 of them) and Realdrums.
What the above message is saying is that in relation to the style you selected, you don't have the Realdrums and Realtrack #599 (Mandolin) that's used in that style. It is possible to use the Realtrack picker to select replacement tracks for those that you don't have.
In style picker, Any Realtrack that has N/A means that it is not part of your edition of BIAB.

Whereabouts on your system are you Realtracks stored? I'm sitting here wondering if maybe this is an installation problem and the Realtracks are present in two different locations. All Realtracks need to be in a single location to be picked up.
If you have a look in Realtrack preferences, there's a setting that allows a user to manually load the path to the Realtrack folder (see blue rectangle below). Is there anything present there?

It does seem like they may be in two places.

Yes, it got me wondering if bb\Realtracks is on the internal hard drive and maybe the settings are pointing to bb\Realtracks on the USB drive. If RT 249 is installed to (say) c:\bb\Realtracks, I don't think it would get picked up in the above scenario.
