I have BIAB 2016 and I purchased Forte dxi registration years ago. I'm running Windows 10 and I have to re-enter the registration number just about every time I use BIAB. Can't it remember it somehow in a reg file of some kind?
Let's write it into a future update guys!

Are you running BIAB "as administrator"? That's the first thing I would check, to ensure that the registration information you enter properly passes through BIAB to Forte.
The only times I've had to re-enter the registration information was when I upgraded my OS or re-installed Forte. Otherwise, it keeps just fine (I'm currently on Windows 10 Pro, by the way).

I have the same issue - but in my situation there is no problem on my DAW which never forgets, but when I use the same license on my laptop - it just forgets each time. I attributed it to the possible fact that the license does not permit dual machines. So I have just lived with it and never raised the question.
Is your situation similar?

No, the license doesn't phone home, so it's not an issue of multiple machines.

OK, then I have the same problem as the OP on one machine and not the other. Have had it for years.

Forte DXi is NOT a PG product so there is NOTHING PG can do to fix in "future updates."

Ditto what John said - I run Forte on 2 machines (Win 7 Pro and Win XP - haven't gotten around to Win 10 Pro music SW installs yet I'm still trying to get non-music legacy SW and HW to work first).
Actually Forte is installed and working on 2 different BOOT drives on the desktop so technically 3 machines - no issues.
Having said that, Forte is a DXi - and frankly IMHO DXi's are a lot more "hincky" then DX's, Direct X in general, or VSTi's
I WOULD UNINSTALL, clean up, re-boot, then re-install and re-authorize, or not because ymmv

Just got back in and noticed it was NOT set to 'run as admin.'
