Hey everyone. I'm primarily a YouTube vlogger, so most of my posts will include videos rather than mp3 links. Hope that's cool with everyone. Here is a workflow tutorial I posted for my YouTube subscribers that shows how I use BIAB with Adobe Audition. There's probably not much to learn for experienced users, but you can fast-forward to the song demo at about 11:14 in this video to hear the song I made. I'm no singer for sure, so apologies for the voice. I'm making these demos so my cousin (a really good singer) can understand the pacing of my songs. He'll be the singer on the final demos. I used the _PSROKWZ and another style on this demo. Feel free to critique in any way - I appreciate input from experienced BIAB users and songwriters.

Lyrics
Winters have come and gone,
I just keep rollin’ on,
It seems like a million miles have passed beneath my wheels.
So far away from home,
Not much to call my own.
Hopin’ the cards will fall in place for just one deal.

I guess I’ve let my best years slip, slip-slide away,
And I Don’t know if I have the strength to dream beyond today.
Well I’ve tried to walk a righteous path - and spread love everywhere,
But when my story’s told, when my body’s cold - will there be someone to care?

I’m like a worn out shoe - - - - the worst kind of useless fool,
Some kinda’ rel----ic washed up on a wind-swept shore.
Shufflin’ from day to day, prayin’ for God to light my way
Livin’ with Less, but hopin’ that someday I’ll see more.

It’s not like I haven’t tried,
Travelled both far and wide,
It’s not like I haven’t worked for all I’ve ever had.
And although the road’s been hard,
Still I’lll draw one more card.
Hopin’ that love will lift some good luck from the bad.

I may have let my best years slip, slip-slide away,
I may not have the strength, the heart, the faith to breath beyond today.
Still I will try to be walk that righteous path - and to bless each passer-by
But when my story’s told, when my body’s cold - hope there’s someone round to cry.

I feel like a worn out shoe - - - - some kinda hopeless fool,
I’m like relic on--- some lost and lone--ly shore.
Shufflin’ from day to day, prayin’ for God to light my way,
Livin’ with less, but hopin’ that someday I’ll see more.

Just like a worn out shoe - - - - I’m a helpless crazy fool,
Just a relic on--- some lost and lone--ly shore.

Tony,

Another really nice melody. You go places that most songwriters would not think to go... Keeps the song interesting throughout.

"Livin’ with Less, but hopin’ that someday I’ll see more."
Nice line...

Mix sounds good.

Enjoyed that..

Hi Tony,

interesting video. Nice song.
I just wonder why you post the demos and not
the completed versions with your cousin.
Enjoyable listen/watch.

Hey brother. I just posted so he'd have reference track to follow on youtube, but I'm thinking it would be way better to re-post when finished. One of my YouTube subscribers even asked me for the separated tracks for this song. He's a former Nashville studio guy and he's re-mixing this for a Logic Pro demo on YouTube. I'll share his track. He pitch corrected my vocal and it sounds amazingly better.

Thanks so much Floyd. I went to your website and listened to your music. Wow - you're the real deal. Some great country tunes there. Love the production value. I can tell this forum is going to open my eyes to some talented people's work.
