Created a ritard on a song ending, and I used the tempo map and it works very well in slowing the tempo. Problem is that the real tracks that play the ritard now sound like they are playing 8th note pedals through the sustains, kinda sounds like loop points. This only occurs when I regenerate the endings with the ritard on real tracks. It does not affect midi tracks. Anyone had any experience with this or have a thought as to what it might be? Thanks!!

Can you post an example?
Not sure what "now sound like they are playing 8th note pedals through the sustains" means.
As in the other thread, I wonder if your resolution is 'course' (ie 120 default).
Doing the 'Fill' with a higher resolution may work better (smooth it out) if the Tempo change is sufficiently drastic.
Then again your system may be having trouble executing the regenerate .. hard to say without an example.

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Hey Rharv, trying to add a wav file, but keep getting a message that says that type of file is not allowed, looks like it's got to be a png, gif, etc.

milt,

To make an audio file available you will need to upload it to a web location. I use Dropbox and place it in the Public folder.

Once the file is uploaded, right-click on it and one of the options from the right-click menu is "Copy Public Link". Select this. Now paste the link into a post on this thread and rharv will be able to download the file.

Regards,
Noel

You can post the links to the song after you load it to a music server.

Drop box....box.com..... sound click....sound cloud.... all popular and all work fine.. You can delete it afterwards if you don't want to leave it up there. Load the file UP as an MP3.

Try what I suggested in the other thread for slowing a song down at the end..... there's no tempo mapping involved and you don't get weird things happening with the parts and nothing sounds like an edit/loop point. Don't make this harder or more complicated than it needs to be.

Hi dga
Milt's link was not correctly presented. I just selected the appropriate text and copied it to the Windows buffer (Control-C) [1]

Then I responded to his email but inserted a link into the email content [2]

Then I pasted the content into the link [3] and added the text and added a description in a slightly easier to access format [4]

It's a 26gb download...... Not me.

Please render off to mp3 before you ask people to download. WAV files are very large. Although that's just me.... someone may be willing to sit and download 26gb.

I don't know how that got so big. The file I loaded into dropbox was a little over 1 mb, it was just a few bars of a bass line but I've never used dropbox before, so I'm sure I screwed something up. Sorry for any inconvenience.
