This forum is where you post the off the wall stuff. The User showcase is for songs.
The problem with the new style of country is that it's always morphing and it's nearly impossible for PG to create the styles for it. By the time they do... it's so last year.
So very few folks are even trying to do modern country here. But with artists like Chris Stapleton coming up the road in Nashville, maybe all the old stuff will once again be cool and we'll be ahead of the curve over here.

Check out Steve (don't know last name) on User Showcase. His music is fantastic and sounds like music you would hear on the radio. I believe most of his stuff is Country Music as well.

still not findin any. gotta think it can be done. maybe wrong but it seems there is a lot with the program that could work. then again im not at the point of pullin it off either. any reason why its what sellin the most but not touched on here. love stapleton as much as the next guy. doesnt seem to be what the girls at the bars wanna hear though. be cool to be able to make some of our own stuff. just dont know where to start. seems easy enough til you try.

You might have to use just the bass and drum tracks to get that modern country sound and fill in the other tracks with live instruments.
As I listen to modern country, the Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean stuff, and others, the drums and bass seem to be fairly solid just like most of the music is.... but it's the guitars, piano, and other things that make the difference.
You need to be able to do some creative editing at times with the bass and drums to get totally there. Try some of the praise and worship styles as they tend to be a bit more off the beaten path and have a more modern sound....again.... look at the drums and the bass and try to add the other tracks manually/live.
Then the next question is......are you actually writing in a truly modern country style to start with? That's probably the hardest part of the equation.
