Some of these may have answers that are not Magix Samplitude related, meaning that there could be an answer that is a general DAW related solution.

I have added hundreds of pre-made Midi drum patterns to the folder for the New Midi Objects. And I have two questions.

1. How to I expand or raise the buffer size to be able to fix more Midi data into that folder, as some of the Midi patterns were greyed out, which I suspect means there's a buffer somewhere to state how much that folder or option can display or use.

2. Can you only use drum midi data or can you add other patterns for other instruments, such as guitar, sax etc? I don't currently have any but wanted to know as I was trying to get some.

I downloaded the Beta version of Migic's Guitar to Midi converter and was sort of able to get it to work, but only with the Wavetable and none of the Magix or other instruments I have.

In the tutorial video for their setup they were asking to have the audio track as the input for the Midi track, but that doesn't seem possible in the DAW I have, Samplitude 2016.

So basically 2 tracks are required, one for the audio interface with Migic and a second for the recording of your Midi data.

So how would I be able to send the audio information to the Audio track to the Midi track in Samplitude Music Studio 2016?

Please see the web site below and go to the VST install and use Tutorial Video's to see what I am referring to.

I have several VST's that do not load at all in Samplitude Studio 2016. I have tried several times to get them to add but they do not. Some work fine but others just fail to load at all...

They are all in c:\program data\VST folder...and that is where it is pointed to in the DAW.

I can add folders etc to prove that I have the correct folder, but several of the VST's just don't show up.

Am I missing something simple here or maybe the VST's are bad etc?

Please help,

Thanks

Tony

Wouldn't this be better asked on the Magix forum?

I could look, but I've only got version Magix Samplitude 2013, so I don't think I would be able to help for 2016.

Yes I have asked and it has remained unanswered for over a month and I just re-posted it again.

I have noticed that BB users tend to respond a lot quicker.. smile

Why not open a ticket with Magix support? There was a time when I was having trouble re-authorizing my copy of Samplitude 2013 after re-installing my O/S, and as I recall, support was mostly responsive.
