What is the best way to get the best, realistic sounds of an acoustic bass and jazz brushes for BIAB ? I want to "form" a jazz trio with me playing piano.

Is there a VSTi library of these instruments you can use as a plug-in with BIAB and if so, which ones ? A nice flugelhorn or harmon muted trumpet would be nice too.

Open up the style-picker and filter for brushes, then go to the genre column and click. Go down to JAZZ genre. The first one on the list sounds great to me. Acoustic bass brushes, and piano. Listen to the demo song. Open that up and mute the piano track in BIAB, that's one example of Brushes,Bass w/o the piano.

When your in style picker mark which Jazz trio's you like as your favorites. You can then display these simply by choosing favorites in the style picker.

I am the person who posts 10 times as many problems as solutions in the PG forum. I'm the guy who has had the most problems with a brand new windows10 PC, I'm the guy who has never been to Nashville, but, I sure do like the music. That's who I am Dave S,

Regards, Dave A

DGA,

Well I've never been to Spain
But,
I kinda like the music
Say the ladies are insane there
And they sure know how to use it
They don't abuse it
Never gonna lose it
I can't refuse it

And you know something else??
I never been to heaven
But I've been to Oklahoma
Well they tell me I was born there
But I really don't remember
In Oklahoma
Not Arizona
What does it matter?
What does it matter?

Maybe that can be your next tune, after Maybelline

V3.

Well I don't remember Maybelline
she seems so far away now
sure beats all I've seen
more than 5,000 plays now
for Maybelline
with a backdrop green
what does it matter
my brains are scattered

And I've never been to England....
but...
Oh, I'm stuck

I will never work

DS,
Bobc wants to know about Acoustic Bass and jazz brush styles. We need to start another thread and get out of his way.

Or you could just email me:) Where nobody else can see.

I'm the one who post 10 questions for every answer. And I swear no more posts about "Maybelline" only 3,450 plays.

Ok, I'm sorry. But all these rules are killing my jazz bone, I'm tired of being bossed around by the man. I'm going to another post.

But seriously look at this.

It is a simple entry into the style finder window. You should check them all out. Mute what you don't need.

I just suggested filter by brushes, click the genre column to sort by genre. Scroll down to JAZZ. First one on the list is a great piano brush and bass trio

If you want the best sounding acoustic bass and jazz brushes, use the real track basses and jazz brushes. The tracks where recorded by real musician, playing real instruments, unlike a VST or VSTi, which mostly like would be just samples of the instruments.
