Im new to Mac ...Just got B.I.A.B. 2016 it will be a while before I really know how to use all of the new stuff as the audio set up is very different. Im not being able to find the t.c. helicon audio harmony processor...does Biab 2016 still have it? Thanks in advance

Jeff,
You probably need to direct this question to PG Music. TC Helicon is reasonably old software by today's standards and it could be that it was only ever licensed for use with BIAB Windows.

I don't think the TC-Helicon harmonizer was ever a part of BIAB for Mac and as Noel stated, it's been there a pretty long time in the Windows version and has not been updated in a long time.
While the Windows TC-Helicon harmonizer does work, you have to be careful how you use it and results are very mixed. You can find yourself in Mickey Mouse territory very quickly. But when it does work, it does work. I've done several songs using it.
It's too bad PGMusic couldn't license the code from TC and then enhance and update it themselves, since they well understand pitch and tempo shifting (a la RealTracks). That way they could incorporate it into both PC and Mac.

I know what you mean about the mickey mouse vocals. I have gotten very lazy as far as recording backing vocals these days...I was using power tracks with windows to generate some backing harmonies...Guess now that I'm a mac person I will have to look in to some other processor to get some backing vocals... I'm looking at isotope nectar or vocal synth...I'm using logic 10 on my mac:)....do you have any recommendations for a decent priced vocal harmony plug in?....Thanks in advance:)

I know lots of folks on the forum use hardware units. Software-wise, I would like to recommend something, but everything is out of my price range.
Antares has its Harmony Engine, but it's about $250 and requires in iLok. Celemony Melodyne supports pitch shifting to create harmonies, but it's not automatic.
Unless someone else can jump in with a recommendation, I would do a Google search and then look carefully at the comments and critiques.
For me, I find it's better to just sing the harmony myself (I'll touch it up a little with Melodyne, if necessary). If I'm not sure what harmony to use, I'll let BIAB create one either with its MIDI harmonizer (and then sing along with that as my guide).
Obviously, you can't do it in the Mac version, but I'll also sometimes let the TC-Helicon create a harmony, then I'll do that same harmony myself after listening to it a few times. Makes for a lot cleaner sound. But MIDI harmony generation works well for the harmony note generation.

Just to give the OP a direct answer to the original question: There's no vocal harmonising feature or add-on included with BBox 2016 for Mac.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!
