I purchased a new Roland Sonic Cell yesterday and I can not get it ot work as a VST in Band in a Box. Has anyone had this problem and how do I fix it? There is no .dll for the Sonic Cell just the editor and when I try to open it it gives me an error message that it is not a valid VST. Can anyone help???????

Sonic cell is a hardware synth, not a VSti. Just send the midi output to the midi port out of the computer to the SC, then attach it to the mixer or speakers, or back to the computer thru sound card.
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2025, Realband, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 9 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app.

Hi Jeff,
The SonicCell Editor is the VST link with the SonicCell and has the VST.dll - it is best to open SCE and make sure you follow the Help Set-up instructions
I save the BIAB song to a midi file then work on that in the SonicCell Editor playing the SonicCell to ensure I get what I want in sound and balance
I have found that BIAB does not support all VST requirements

Make sure to load the patch map for the sonic cell. You'll be able to specify the extra banks, without having to save a performance in the SC editor.
The patch map is in Support, under Other and Patch Maps:
/pgfiles/support/patchmaps/roland_sonic_cell.zip
I've got this unit and it is absolutely amazing.
