Mandolin players, give me a list of mandolin songs I should learn to play to build up my repertoire so I can start doing mandolin gigs. I mostly looking into bluegrass, celtic, Italian, and jazz music, but I'm open to suggestions.
P.S. I want to be able to have the sheet music for the song recommendations.

There are not many mandolin players on this forum, and I cant think of any songs that would be called 'mandolin songs.' Rather, the mandolin plays a part in many styles of music, including the styles you mention. Here is a link to a site with lots of mandolin expertise on it: http://www.mandohangout.com/Once you know the names of the songs you want to learn, google them this way: 'song title' biab You will find tons of songs that users have created in BiaB and posted on the Web. Usually they include the melody notes.

Usually they include the melody notes. Thanks, I wasn't thinking about mandolin specific songs, but songs that mandolin players should learn.

I didn’t have time for a more detailed answer earlier because I was headed to work. The link I posted before has tons of mandolin songs in a wide variety of styles. The instruction material is written in standard notation and TAB.
A lot of it will include video and all of it will include audio and sheet music.
I highly recommend it and no, I’m not affiliated with the provider.
