Danke für die Antwort. Allerdings bin ich davon ausgegangen, da meine Anfrage im deutschsprachigen Teil dieses Forums gestellt wurde, dass es sich von selber versteht, worum es geht: die deutschsprachige Version von BiaB 2016 für den Mac.

Das Programm wird dabei nicht verändert. Einzig die Texte werden übersetzt und anstatt der Original-Texte auf dem Bildschirm dargestellt.
Die Übersetzung dauert erfahrungsgemäß immer etwa vier bis fünf Monate. Das Overlay mit der deutschen Übersetzung für 2015 wurde am 30. Oktober 2015 veröffentlicht.
Das Overlay für die Windows-Version 2016 kam im April 2016.
Also wird die Mac-Version-Übersetzung wahrscheinlich im Oktober/November 2016 kommen.

Nochmals vielen Dank für die Antwort. Zwar erschließt es sich mir (als professionellem Übersetzer) nicht, warum eine Teil-Übersetzung vier bis fünf Monate dauert, aber falls es so ist, muss ich eben warten. Denn der Hintergrund ist, dass nach Erscheinen der von mir erwarteten Version diese für einen Monat rabattiert gekauft werden kann. Und da ich die Festplatten-Version benötige, geht es dabei um einen nicht ganz unerheblichen Betrag.

Die Übersetzung schließt auch das Handbuch und die Hilfetexte mit ein. Das dauert länger. Die Fragen, die ich nicht beantworten kann, sind:
"Arbeitet Herr Leobacher alleine an der Übersetzung oder ist er in einem Team?"
"Macht das Herr Leobacher neben- oder hauptberuflich?"
Beides hat Auswirkungen auf die Dauer der Übersetzung.

Eine Frage habe ich noch: In der PC-Version von BiaB ist es möglich, RealTracks als WAV bzw. als MIDI zu speichern respektive in die DAW zu übertragen. Ist es beabsichtigt, diese Funktion auch in die Mac-Version aufzunehmen?

Das weiß ich nicht. Die dieser Frage zugrunde liegende Aussage ist aber nicht ganz richtig. Es gibt RealTracks, die wurden in Midi von Hand umgesetzt -- mehr oder weniger exakt. Es gibt RealTracks bei denen dieses Feature komplett fehlt und welche, bei denen es teilweise gemacht wurde.
Wenn es ein RealChart gibt, dann kann dieses auch als Midi-Datei abgespielt werden. Ich habe die Windows-Version und von der Mac-Version nur Second-Hand-Ahnung:

... nur kurz zum Übersetzungsablauf.
Aktuell wird das Programm in in 13 Sprachen übersetzt.
Zuerst wird immer die Windowsversion mit dem Updatehandbuch übersetzt.
Dann wird das Updatehandbuch in das Gesamthandbuch eingearbeitet.
Dann folgt die Mac-Version.
Sobald ich die Übersetzungsdatei bekomme, lege ich los.
Nach der Übersetzungsarbeit werden noch die Screenshots gemacht und die Aufbereitung für die Webseite.
Da es sich bei PGMusic um eine sehr kleine Firma mit schlanker Struktur handelt, dauert es teilweise etwas bis Dinge in anderen Sprachen umgesetzt sind.
Dafür sind alle Beteiligten sehr engagiert bei der Sache.
Jedenfalls kein Vergleich zu anderen bekannten Softwareunternehmen.
Seit heute ist übrigens das Gesamthandbuch im Windows Sprachenupdate verfügbar.
Die nächste Übersetzung wird dann die MAC Version sein.
Zum Funktionumfang MAC:
Die MAC-Version wurde relativ spät (im Vergleich zur Windows Version) auf den Markt gebracht.
Nach und Nach werden alle Funktionen auch in der MAC Version vorhanden sein.
