I have not seen an answer yet to the question of whether those of us who have BIAB2009 for Windows and all the realtracks and realdrums for the PC version can use those same real files with the MAC version. I am interested in getting the MAC version as I own 2 macs but I do not wish to purchase all the real files again when I already have them for the PC. Is it a license/usage issue or just a file format issue?

File format for sure. Mac audio is aiff and m4a format, so the RTs and RDs have to use those rather than wav and wma.

FWIW you can purchase format tools on line. Use google. With these tools you can convert WAV to AIFF, etc.

Yes, you can convert audio formats but: In each Real Drum folder there are text files. Each text file references the associated wave file using the wav. extension. If you are willing to manually edit hundreds and hundreds of text files, go for it. However, there are also Bt0 files associated with each wma or wave files for both RealDrums and RealTracks. These we cannot edit. I am not sure if the MAC Bt0 version has different data pointers than the PC version. I guess you could try a few files to see if it works. I tend to doubt it will work. The crossgrade options are very good and I was happy to purchase the full MAC package, even though I have the full PC package.
