Bonjour,
- BIAB me sert à faire des Backing track afin de jouer par dessus soit au violon, soit à la guitare ( thèmes et solos ).
- Deux styles m'intéressent particulièrement, mais je les souhaite TOUT EN REALTRACK : le JAZZ et la BOSSA.
- Pour l'instant, j'ai Band in a Box 2014 PRO avec Realband.
En swing, je dispose de _JAZFRED.STY ( basse, Piano, Batterie,Guitare soit 4 pistes tout en realtrack ,ce qui est parfait! J'ai aussi _JAZMEDL.STY / _JAZZSWP.STY / _JSWINGP.STY / _LAZYJZM.STY ) . Par contre pour la BOSSA, je n'ai que la Batterie en realtrack, mais toutes les autres pistes sont en midi !!!!!!!
- QUESTION 1 : si j'achète cette fois une nouvelle version BAND IN A BOX 2016, quelle version à votre avis dois-je prendre pour avoir au moins 8 à 10 Styles minimum en JAZZ ( swing/cool,swing valse...etc ) et 8 à 10 Styles environ de BOSSA : Version PRO ? Version MegaPAK ? Version UltraPlusPAK ? ou EverythinkPAK ?
- QUESTION 2 : est-il possible de télécharger ces différentes versions à partir d'une ligne ADSL ? ( environ 5500 mb/s en réception )
- QUESTION 3 : Si je ne me trompe pas, les 4 versions correspondantes sur le site PG musique sont celles indiquées "Upgrade from 2014 or earler or crossgrade" à $79 / $159 / $299 / et $399 ( je ne pense pas être obligé de repartir des versions "first-time purchase" )

J'utilise comme toi BIAB pour faire mes backing tracks; essentiellement dans les domaines Jazz et Bossa.....
En réponse à tes questions:
1) il ne faut pas hésiter à mettre à jour son logiciel. Ce que je te propose, c'est tout d'abord d'investir dans l'upgrade 2014->2016 à $79 puis, enrichis ton stock de RealTracks en fonction des affinités que tu trouveras dans la banque de RT de PG Music. Le site PG music montre bien les sons obtenus par les RT en question.
2) avec un tel débit (5,5 Mb/s descendant), tu n'auras aucun problème.
3) vu que tu disposes déjà de la version 2014, tu n'as pas besoin de partir de la version "1st time purchase".
Enjoy BAND-in-a-Box, c'est un outil extraordinaire !

Bonsoir Daniel,
merci pour la réponse. Du coup, j'ai acheté la version Band in a Box 2016 PRO sur le site PG Music. Il y a déjà un peu plus de realtracks. Pour le Jazz, je pense que c'est OK ( je vais quand même essayer de trouver un Set 3/4 en Jazz Waltz pour les morceaux de type "Bluesette" ).
Pour la bossa, il faut que je creuse encore un peu la question pour trouver les meilleurs Realtrack.
Sinon, après avoir un peu fouillé sur internet, je me suis aperçu que nous avions à peu près le même profil. Pour le Jazz, j'ai une ES175 de 1968. Mais j'ai , moi aussi, une guitare manouche ! Je profite un peu de la retraite pour perfectionner ce style !!!!!

Tu as vraiment la chance de posséder une 175 de 1968 ! Elle doit sonner .... !
Moi je possède (entre autres) la copie de la 175 de Jaccobacci (le modèle Sacha Distel). C'est pas mal non plus !
En ce qui concerne les RealTracks; tu vas sur le site PG Music -> Band-in-a-Box Windows-> Realtracks. Tu peux là écouter l'ensemble des RealTracks avant achat.
Si tu as besoin d'infos, n'hésite pas!

Bonjour Daniel, 1) A propos de l'ES175, elle est visible à l'adresse suivante http://guitare.passion.free.fr/ampli_lampes_jnr/ampli_lampes.htm ( dans mon article concernant la fabrication d'un ampli à lampes). 2) Concernant Band in a Box 2016 PRO, à propos des Realtracks et des Realdrums, j'ai bien du mal à approfondir la question. - pour les realtracks: si je prends 1 à 2 sets Jazz complémentaires : 29$ x 2 = 58$ + realtrack 164 Bolero : 29$ + realtrack 74 Balroom Latin : 29$ + 1 realtrack Jazz Waltz : 29$ - pour les realdrums : set 5 latin (rumba, tango,..) : 29$ + set 10 (bossa and jazz ) : 29$ + set 24 Jazz Waltz : 29$ j'arrive déjà à un total de 232$. D'autre part, il y a la récente proposition de Pauline ( team PG music) ! Donc,si je repartais sur Band in a Box UltraPlusPAK, là, j'aurais tout, et finalement pour guère plus cher ! D'un autre coté, je peux me faire la main avec mon Band in a Box PRO 2016 et peut-être faire le saut à l'UltraPlusPAK avec la nouvelle version 2017 qui devrait sortir en fin d'année (et nous n'en sommes plus très loin !!!) J'ai aussi un peu peur de télécharger 90 Go avec les fichiers de cette version UltraPlusPAK : pour mon Band in a Box 2016 PRO, j'ai réussi à tout avoir, mais il n'y avait que 10 Go. je surveillais la sortie de BIBox 2017. J'ai reçu un avis de PG music ce jour et j'ai également vu ton post.
Vu la promo qu'il y a en ce moment, je vais certainement faire le pas avant Noël en choisissant une version "EverythingPAK", mais j'aurais 2 questions à te poser :
1) je vais donc cette fois me retrouver avec une version ANGLAISE. Mais si je veux par la suite ( courant 2017 ) évoluer vers une version FRANCAISE faudra-t-il recommander chez PG une autre version du programme où y a t il généralement en cours d'année un patch à télécharger gratuitement?
2) J'ai vu que pour le même prix chez PG, j'ai possibilité de me faire envoyer un disque dur préchargé avec BIB et toutes les realtraks. Mais à la réception, il y a des frais ( douane + transport) à régler au livreur. A t on une idée de ces frais ? est ce une 30 aine d'EUR ou alors beaucoup plus cher comme par ex 100 EUR ? ( Si ce n'était pas plus de 30 EUR, je le prendrais de suite à la commande )

En réponse à tes questions ....
1) la francisation de la version Band-in-a-Box 2017 (actuellement en anglais) est bien entendu gratuite. Elle sera disponible début 2017.
2) j'aurai du mal à te répondre objectivement. Ceci dit; je l'ai fait personnellement et je n'ai rien eu à payer. Et puis, je suppose que le traité commercial Canada-Europe n'a pas été validé pour rien !

Bonjour Daniel,
J'ai finalement pris la version Everything PAK un peu avant Noël. Du coup, comme j'avais déjà une version PRO 2016, je me retrouve avec une version 2017 qui est pratiquement déjà tout en français, ce qui est plutôt pas mal.
Pour ceux qui se posent encore des questions et désirent investir avant le 31/12/2016 , voici ce que j'ai réellement dépensé :
- version BIB Everything PAK 2017 : 169$
- fourniture et expédition d'un disque dur de 2,5" : 25$
TOTAL : 194$ soit 188 EUR.
Lors de la livraison, je n'ai rien eu à payer au livreur. Par contre, 4 jours après son passage, j'ai reçu une facture de la FEDEX de 44 EUR. Les nouvelles dispositions France Canada ne s'appliquent donc pas encore, mais le coût global de l'opération (232 EUR) reste très acceptable. A chacun donc de juger s'il à où pas réellement besoin d'un disque dur complémentaire. ( oui, certainement s'il n'a pas de ligne internet rapide )
Pour le téléchargement, j'ai également fait le test. Bien qu'ayant une ligne ADSL d'un débit descendant de 5,5 Mb/s , il m'a quand même fallu presque 1 semaine pour tout télécharger : il y a parfois des lenteurs ( saturation site PG music en cette période ? Engorgement des serveurs FAI ? , autres problèmes.... ? ). Il faut donc parfois relancer le gestionnaire de téléchargement pour faire "remonter" le débit ! Mais à part cela, aucune erreur de transfert!
Avec un peu d'avance, meilleurs voeux pour cette nouvelle année !

Je visite tardivement cette page ... et je remercie Jean-Noel pour son lien sur la construction de son ampli à lampes , très très bien documenté et même carrément passionnant. J'avais un Frangin électronicien de la vieille école et je me suis retrouvé dans le passé ... le poste à galène j'ai connu également ... Ca m'a fait beaucoup de bien de lire cette page
