Kent - PG Music PG Music Staff K Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 1,382	Hi Tony, Please try this, it stops most Access Violations: With RealBand closed, the M:\RealBand folder, right-click on RealBand.exe and select Properties. In the window that appears, click on the Compatibility tab, check the box marked "Run this program as an administrator", and click Ok. This fix seemed to work in previous versions of RB but in 2017 it does not work and when I try to create a tambourine track in RB I get the same crash I did before. I made sure that the EXE was running as Administrator yet still no go. I have a work around by creating a tambourine track with a loop, but am worried that this is broken again. Thanks

I get a violation then have to close Realband. I'm running 2017 all the latest updates on windows 10. And running as administrator doesn't make any difference. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
