I’m struggling with problems that haven’t occurred before. I can’t get input signal in BIAB or RB using Asio driver. The driver is Zoom R16/R24. Last time I did this, some 6 months ago, I had no problems. I’m not sure if I used Asio or MME at that time, but neither is working now. If I make my Zoom R24 the default player in windows, I get sound in and out, so the Zoom recorder is working fine as windows sound card. Moving to BIAB/RB, I can play sound out through the Zoom, but no sound in from it. I’ve tried using MME and Asio in Audio settings, and have also tried quite a few different USB cables. I just cannot figure what’s wrong, and it might be something really simple that I’ve overlooked. So any suggestions are welcome, as I’ve used some 4-5 hours on this with absolutely no success. And yes, I've tried this. In RB/BIAB, the Zoom Audio Interface has to be activated before starting RB/BIAB.
A couple of things to play with: there is a checkbox for ASIO always on; you might want to check that. You may also want to launch the ASIo control panel to make sure you are using the correct ports.
Also, just in case, make sure you are running BIAB as administrator.
Sometimes my ASIO driver goes haywire, so if you don't have it, you might want to download ASIO4ALL and give it a try. Even if you don't use ASIO4ALL, sometimes I find switching to ASIO4ALL and then switching back to the soundcard's ASIO driver clears things up. Shouldn't be that way, but I've found that works, so I just go with it.

You've probably done this, but check you have the latest Zoom drivers. My experience is that they offer no support service and sometimes just put new stuff up. They had issues with an early driver for the UA-3.

You may also want to launch the ASIo control panel to make sure you are using the correct ports.
OK, so that was it. I had to choose the same port as the channel I was using on the Zoom. I wasn’t aware of that, though it makes perfectly sense. Now it works as it should. Thanks!
