Build 146. I just tried to enter note-based lyrics and my lyric entries are not being saved. If I go to Edit Lyrics, I see nothing. Does anybody know if this feature is not implemented or broken? I am used to doing this in Windows version without issue, so I expected it to work the same way. Am I doing something wrong, or?

Hello tsimpson,
We have been unable to replicate your findings in house.
In Band-in-a-Box 2016 (146) we are able to enter in a melody line, add note-based lyrics, and display them in the "Edit Lyrics" window without issue.
Can you please walk us step-by-step through your process.
You should be opening your Notation Window, clicking the "Editable notation mode" option, and entering your melody line.
Then click in the time indicator bar above your first note (where you want to start your lyrics) and click the L button to enter your lyrics. Once a few lyrics are entered, click the EDIT button to see if they display.
If that still isn't working for you, please email support@pgmusic.com with your inquiry and let them know your computer operating system so they can troubleshoot further.

Hi Alyssa-
Thank you for your response. I am performing steps as you suggest, but cannot see any input. I am running BIAB Build 146, OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. The only idea I have is that the keyboard is a wireless (Bluetooth) keyboard. Possibly it is not being recognized by BIAB somehow, although it seems to work for other BIAB purposes. I will do some further research before contacting support.

OK, I think I know now what caused the Note-Based Lyric entry to fail, as I initially reported on this thread.
Recents builds have had an issue with ‘Textj’ font. When 'Textj' is selected, for example for Title or Lyric, the notated result is Arial instead.
Since I wanted the Textj rather than Arial font on my leadsheets , I found a “work-around” which was to select an ‘Other’ font called ‘Textje’, which looks the same as ‘Textj’. So far so good.
Shortly thereafter, I noticed I had a problem attempting Note-Based Lyric entry (Build 146). It seems that the ‘Textje’ font is not recognized by the Lyric entry mode, hence no characters would appear when entered. As soon as I selected a different font (‘Text’ or ‘Textj’) for Lyric, the Note-based lyric function began to work as expected.
Note: I now notice that when attempting to select any ‘Other’ fonts, BIAB will crash. (Perhaps, I managed to select ‘Textje’ under an earlier build, when it was not yet fatal.)
I recently upgraded to Sierra 10.12.1. I think I have got this more or less correct. Please pass it on to the development team. Thanks.
