Just wondering how much biab upgrades usually cost at this time of the year i.e. 2017.
I know there wont be a set amount just average price would do..

Well... It depends on the type of upgrade you are in need of... If I remember well: $ 49 for the program upgrade without any bell and whistles... and last year I paid $ 169 for the upgrade plus the 49 add-on pack with add ons and bonus real tracks...

Since you have the UltraPlusPak...
In the past, there's been a special deal for upgrading the UltraPlusPak or EverythingPak to the latest version with all the latest bells as whistles for US$100 (download). This has been a favourite choice of mine over the years and has allowed me to keep up to date for a great price.
Bonus paks are sometimes included free, sometimes included at a special price or a combination of both. Bonus material always stands outside the normal update. I tend to look at bonus packages as 'special release' material.
Last year, I noticed that the upgrade to the Audiophile edition was excellent value, too.

My experience is that PG Music always look after us well.
As others have said, updates have always occurred early in December for Windows editions and mid-year for Mac.

Seems to me the last few versions have primarily been about RealTracks/styles and not a ton changed in the code/functionality or interface. I still spring for them, because I don't have a motorcycle or gamble in Vegas or whatever mid-life crises are supposed to cost. I WOULD like to see some surprise beyond a new Gypsy/Jazz Klezmer fusion.
