Hello and Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Simpleton question...I would like to print chord sheets for everybody but the little notes I create such as "Verse 1, guitar solo, chorus etc" created in the top part of the bar, won't print out? why?

How did you create the notes? Are they lyrics? Look in the File, Print menu for options and be sure everything you need has a checkbox.

Matt,
I simply double clicked the area above the chord to open the small dialogue or text box to type something in. On my computer that little dialogue box appears dark green.

Just checking: so you were in Editable Notation Mode, and you did a left-click, Insert Section Text?

OK, but I don't know how to enter text there. Are you entering the text as section text, like I said above? Or doing it some other way (please describe)?

I don't use text in BIAB so if you can help, Noel, that's great.
To post a screenshot, what I do is place it on my Dropbox public folder and then put the link in a post.

In addition to Matt's method of posting images (which is the one I use), it's also possible to use the forum's 'File Manger' feature. To access this, click on the button below the "Quick Reply" window that says "Switch to Full Reply Screen". In 'Full Reply Screen' mode, there's an option called 'File Manager' (see image below).  To use this, simply use "Print Screen" to grab and image. Paste it and save in (say) Paint. Now use the above File Manager to upload the image.

I was going to ask this question of BIAB staffers about 6 months ago but I never had time.
I have never had much luck in printing the lyrics out in BIAB and have tried many things and clicked all the boxes.
Maybe they addressed it this year in an update? I kind of gave up after a while. Maybe I missed something obvious but it was never very easy for me. What I typed in simply did not show up on the page as it appeared on the screen no matter what I did.
But again, maybe that was fixed, or maybe I was doing something stupid.
If I type lyrics I do it in Guitar Pro because it makes a cleaner appearance.
