I am "having fun" experimenting with BiaB 2017 and as usual finding "problems" which will certainly be solved once new explaination videos are published and once PG boys (and girls) will be back to work (leaves us 2 days to "complain!! so hurry up!)
"Problem 1": I have been happy to see that the mixer floating window, which had been retained in the last version, remained. I use it extensively to fine tune paning, tone and reverb. But I am dispointed to see (at this moment) that the other mixer disapeared. I used it to set the general volume of the song very easily and throw a look at the volume bar of each instrument to see at a glance who, in the band, is playing and who has gone to the toilets. YES, I have understood that I may go to the other screen (ctrl-T) where I will find it again, but in the end, I would like to stay/use the new gui...
"Problem2": I am missing just the same the (direct) information in which chorus we are. The new display indicates how many chorus the song has but does not change with the playing (this in both screen modes). I understand that the new scale is supposed to replace it but I (today) do not find it very "readable" and as straight as before. PG think of us old folk, half blind and half death, have mercy on us!! Bernard

For "problem #2", in the new 'modern' interface there is now a progress bar that shows the progression in a song. Is that similar to what you are missing?

Of course I have seen the new progress bar (I am only half blind, after all!!!) But I have just not figured out how I see at a glance (this is for the half deaf!) if I am in the second or the fourth chorus since I just see the blue or green marks and (for me) not a clear 1,2 or 3 (chorus). Maybe it will be clearer, as I mentioned, when an explanation video comes out... (You're right, I could start reading the upgrade documentation (!)), but I am just busy right now writing to the forum. Dont worry I keep having fun! Bernard
