SoundCloud: In My Heart
This original song uses an older BIAB STYLE that I like a lot. Nearly all of the tracks are MIDI, but have been updated with corresponding RTs from later iterations of BIAB. I kept the MIDI tracks that translated well into what I was trying to do and replaced others with RTs that I liked wherever possible.
This was a "challenge song"...someone bet me I couldn't write a hot love song...OK...it was a girl.
Anyway, not being one to shy away from a challenge I put my heart into it and this is what came out. I suppose it's my tip-of-the-hat to Donna Summer; there are whispered lyrics here and there.
My vocals and lead guitar, a lush and lovely Fender Subsonic Telecaster, baritone electric.
