For a jazz slow trio style I want to change the guitar RT939 for the RT484. The RT picker dialog shows the RT484 is assigned, but RT939 is still used. Other RT's I tried did replace the RT939.

There is an option that tells BIAB to substitute a similar track at a closer tempo. so when you chose the 85 bpm guitar in a song set to 60, it will substitute the 60 bpm track (which is your original choice). You can turn that option off.
I do not know where it is, but I'm sure Noel does... Noel?
I know that option. With deselect that option every RT can be used. But when this option is selected many other RT's can be used even 140 beat styles. They appear with a tilde (~). I don't know why RT939 cannot be substituted by RT484. But to deselect this option works fine for me.

Nice work, floyd! That didn't occur to me.
There are a couple of settings for this...
(a) The song-by-song setting is under the 'Song Settings' menu (Image 1, below).
(b) The global override is under "Options | Preferences | Realtracks" (Image 2).

1. If you see ~ in front of a Realtrack's name in the mixer, this means "there's a better RT available that's more suited to the tempo". It hasn't been substituted, though.
