Thanks. Very clear explanation and summary. I knew the material, but only dabble in it as the mood takes me. Ironically, I was messing around with chords bits and twiddles (vamps) just before I watched it to reduce the boredom factor in my guitar playing and try to rustle up some bluegrass type riffs. It just reminded me of how much time I waste by just fiddling and not working theoretically and consistently when practicing.

Thanks for posting this. It's informative and something I hope to put to use this year to increase my playing skills. (A 2016 New Year Resolution that fell by the wayside last year and Re-vamped <intended pun> again this year. )
