ik heb BiaB 2015 pro nederlandse versie, en heb vorige week vanuit Canada de upgrade naar BiaB 2017 everypack engelse versie gekocht op hard disc.
als ik dit installeer herkent 2017 de real tracks niet.
2015 blijft wel gewoon werken.
nu ben ik meer muzikant dan ict-er.
wie kan mij in Nederland helpen om 2017 goed in mijn pc te krijgen?

Heb je de routing naar de real tracks en drums folder ingesteld? verwijzingen kan je onder preferences instellen.
Nog beter is misschien de hele inhoud van beide folders uit je 2015 installatie te kopieren naar de zelfde folders in 2017, dan blijft de oude versie ook werken. Als je dat met bijvoorbeeld TeraCopy of FastCopy doet, in fasen door de hoeveelheid, kan je ook instellen dat de oude gelijknamige items de nieuwe niet overschrijven. Je zult misschien dat ook met de *.sty, *.stx. *.xt2 en *.St2 files uit de moeder folder moeten doen, anders ziet de stylepicker je oude styles niet.
PS Ik heb heel lang de realtracks en drums folders elders op een aparte partitie en drive gehad, bij mij plm 1,5 TB groot, was simpeler met updates .... Tip houd je orginele BIAB USB drive, als je Audiophile hebt, intakt als backup, en zet daar hooguit de updates bij in speciale folder. Kan je zoals ze in Belgie zeggen "terugbeginnen" als er iets fout gaat. F

Als je een BiaB2017 everypack upgrade op hard disk hebt, dan zou je alle realtracks moeten hebben. Misschien staan de oudere realtracks nog op je oude c:\bb. Zorg dat alle bestanden bijelkaar op één directory op je nieuwe harddisk staan. Maar pas op dat je de nieuwste bestanden op de harddisk behoudt - dus niet vervangen door de oudere bestanden van c:\bb. Als het dan nog steeds niet werkt, moet je een email sturen aan support@pgmusic.com met een uitgebreide beschrijving wat je op welke schijf hebt staan.
