OK this isn't funny anymore. I freed up 50G of space on my e: drive (hard disk drive). Overkill, I know. I copied over my f:\bb files (hard disk drive) to e:\bb I attempted to install once again. I chose a minimalist install. Just BIAB, no Realband. Just Pro Real Combo 1, 2 Just Mega Real Combo 1, 2 So what does BIAB do? It attempts to install Pro Real Combo 1, 2, 3, 4 Mega Real Combo 1, 2, 3, 4 It aborts each one in succession. Total failure of installation. I did better a couple of days ago trying to install to f: that had 6 G.

It might be easiest for you to get help from PG Music. I don't know how big the MegaPak is. As mentioned the other day, the EverythingPak is around 135 GB. With this in mind, 50 GB for the MegaPak might not be enough. When I read your above post, it wasn't clear in my mind what you are attempting to do from which drive to where. You mention an f: drive? Is this your USB drive? Also, when you copied your f:\bb files to the e: drive, how much space was left on e: afterwards? (I'm guessing that this is where you want to install BIAB.) Are the files in f:\bb a result of your installation or are they the installing .exe files? Are you still using your flash drive at any point? May be it would be easier if you can answer the following... 1. On what drive are the installation files? 2. What drive do you want to install BIAB on to? Lastly, the minimalist install is for someone who installs from a USB hard drive and wishes to run the program from that USB hard drive. This is probably not applicable to your situation with a flash drive.

I don't know how big the MegaPak is. As mentioned the other day, the EverythingPak is around 135 GB. With this in mind, 50 GB for the MegaPak might not be enough. I don't know how much space MegaPak needs, but I was not/am not interested installing all of it, despite my having opted to purchase that package. It was the package that made most sense for my needs. Not the package that I ever wanted to do a full install of. When I read your above post, it wasn't clear in my mind what you are attempting to do from which drive to where.
You mention an f: drive? Is this your USB drive?
No, in this case it is my boot drive. Most people boot from their c: drive. I do also for regular computer work. But for my music work, I boot from my f: drive (it is on the same hard disk that my c: drive resides and has its own dedicated Windows operating system. Also, when you copied your f:\bb files to the e: drive, how much space was left on e: afterwards? (I'm guessing that this is where you want to install BIAB.)
There were around 48+ G left. Yes this is where I'd like to install BIAB to, the place with the most space. Are the files in f:\bb a result of your installation or are they the installing .exe files?
The former. Are you still using your flash drive at any point?
Yes, I am using my flash drive to do the installation. It was mailed to me for this purpose.
1. The USB drive, usually h: 2. e: Yes I did want to install from the USB drive (in this case a USB flash key) and run from there. But I quickly found out that I was not supposed to do this so I abandoned that idea.

Yes, this sounds correct, You overrode the defaults and told it to not install anything but the basic version (app only, no RealTracks) And then you are surprised that it isn't installing the various RealTracks combos. But you told it not to.
Try accepting the defaults, and installing the whole thing. You have 50 GB free. It will be about 30gb. Then you can delete whatever folders on the bb RealTracks folders that you don't want.

Thanks for helping out Peter. As I mentioned I chose to install Pro Real Combo 1, 2 Mega Real Combo 1, 2 So I did tell it to install RealTracks. Well here is an update. Before returning here I did end up having time today to call PGMusic. I explained my entire situation and asked if they could walk me through an installation. To make a long story short, it worked. What was different this time? Well as we were proceeding I explained that I would like a minimalist installation, ie. just Pro Real Combo 1 and Mega Real Combos 1 just to get started. And then later if I felt I wanted to add more I would just do a manual installation. Well I was urged to do the whole kit and caboodle. When it was explained that everything in my case would take up around 20G I said to myself, what the heck, I could always delete stuff after if I needed more space. So what was different? This time everything was installed whereas before I was attempting to install smaller amounts of the program. Now get this: As I was making the selections for installation I read out loud what I was checking and unchecking. I chose to uncheck Plogue sforzando and loops02. I was advised to check Plogue sforzando because it was "required" by the program. Well I asked if it was required why was it listed in the options of things to install/not to install? And then later during the installation, despite my having deselected loops02 guess what was installed? That's right, loops02! So just in closing, I would like to mention the following. The BIAB 2017 setup algorithms are a bit screwed up. Despite being given a list to choose what you want/don't want for your installation, you will either not get any (total abortion) or a partial fulfillment (as were my cases), or some choices will be entirely disregarded (loops02) if you don't opt for the complete installation.

We've fixed a bug in the flash drive setup file that could cause it to mix up components, if you were doing a partial install with some components unchecked like loops02.exe etc. If you are interested you can download one of the following depending on which package you have. This is only applicable to people who ordered a flash drive from us and had trouble with installation as described. It is not an essential update that everyone needs to get. MegaPAKPro PlusPAK The appropriate file (one of the three above) should be copied to the flash drive root (it will not work otherwise) to replace the existing BB2017_Setup.exe file.
