When you listen to a style demo in the style picker and then import that style into your chord sheet in BIAB by hitting OK, it sounds very different from what you hear in the demo. Why is this happening? I would have thought that it should sound exactly the same sound wise as in the demo. Am I missing something here. Can anyone shed some light as to why this happens. When I listen to a demo of a style I expect it to sound very close to what I hear in the demo regardless of the chords I have entered. Any help would be appreciated. I have checked with other BIAB uses and it appears they are getting the same results. Thanks for any help
Cheers
Nels

Nels,
What are the names of some of the styles that you've noticed this in? I'll check them out.
Regards, Noel

I'm thinking it is by design since you have an option to audition the style as well as audition the style over the chord chart you've created.
It has worked out to be a great feature for me in both original projects and covers.
I spend a lot of time playing in the 2017 Stylepicker.

I didn't realize you can load the actual Style Demo into your Song. I assume I can build my own song from this?

OK, a random thought; Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

Nels, BiaBman asked the same question in a different forum. Here was my response to him:
BiaBman, on a side note you have asked about getting the same or similar sound as on the demos. To do so you will need a few plug-in effects; note NOT the effects that come with BiaB. If you already have good effects then you can just ignore this message. You should have at least the following effects: 1-reverb 2-delay 3-EQ 4-compressor 5-limiter
A good place to start looking for some of these are at waves : https://www.waves.com/plugins#sort:path~type~order=.default-order~number~asc|views:view=grid-view|paging:currentPage=0|paging:number=18
There are other individual instrument effects that are very helpful.
PS - there are many other companies other than Waves that produce great effects. I just chose them as they are all in one place., Note that I do not work for or represent Waves in any way, I just like and use many of there effects. YMMV

Hey Mario. The original question is from 2017. Manimal22 revived this post today. I'm not familiar with BIABman's issue where you made your initial reply and it may or may not be the same as the poster's original question from 2017.
I wasn't clear with my answer back in 2017 but in this post from 2017, the reason the demo sounded different was due to the user 'importing' the demo rather than opening the demo. Importing will play over the current chord chart, not overwriting the chord chart with the demo chords. Opening the demo will overwrite the chord chart and load the PG Music demo with chords, tempo, key, etc and play the demo exactly as it was originally created.
