Before I put this in the Wishlist, I wanted to see if I'm missing something.
I know I can use Copy Special to copy part of the Melody track to other places in the Melody track. Same for the Soloist track.
I know I can Go to the Melody menu, Edit Melody Track, and Copy to Soloist track. Same for copying all of the Soloist track to the Melody.
But can I copy ONLY SOME of the Melody to a place in the Soloist track, or ONLY SOME of the Soloist to a place in the Melody track? I sure don't see how.

It's possible to do this using Piano Roll mode. Just select a few melody notes, CTRL+C, then switch from Melody view to Soloist view and then paste. If you use the right-click menu to paste, there are options to either replace or merge when the notes are added.
Also, I've just discovered that it's possible in notation mode, too. I've never tried this before. When I entered editable notation mode, there was a new copy menu that I hadn't seen before.
Glad to see this one come up because I always thought it was a shortfall of the program that you could not copy or swap a part of the Soloist or Melody to the other. Because I need to do that all the time and presently I have to enter things twice. I will certainly give it a try with Piano Roll mode. Thanks Noel!
However, I do not see why the function could not be part of the 'Melody', 'Edit Melody Track' or 'Soloist' 'Edit Soloist Track' menu items. Or even 'Edit', 'Copy Special...' That is where I look for it intuitively.
