HI!
Well, I've been trying to merge tracks from BIAB to my desktop as well as merging tracks to burn a CD. I get the 'spinning circle' (Win10) for quite a long period of time. When I hit 'close' or 'X' it says BIAB has to close. This is a new problem. Any ideas?

Right-click BB and 'Run As Administrator'
See if it may solve a permissions issue. (BiaB may not be allowed to save to your desktop in certain conditions).
Or try saving to a different location as a test.
If it still fails, how are you doing on disk space?

Yeah, that's probably why it is taking so long; not much space to work in. Sounds like you need to do some cleanup or get another (larger) disk drive. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12425/windows-10-free-up-drive-space I get the 'spinning circle' (Win10) for quite a long period of time.

I cleaned up the disk space than ran as administrator. Didn't help.
Now, the only way I can accomplish the task of merging the tracks and burning a CD is to send the tracks to realband and merge them there then burn the CD. It'll work in realband but will no longer work in BIAB. So, what is the problem? I can't figure it out.

If RB works and BiaB doesn't, I'm out of ideas .. does it fail when you save, or when you try to burn?
How are you trying to burn (what do you click on to get there)?

In BB, it fails when I try to merge and burn. Maybe I'll make a call to customer service.

There should be a simple EXPORT as a wave function.
I'll admit that I don't often use what BB gives me as a final product BUT.... in the export dialog box, there are several options and exporting the individual tracks, exporting the project as a wave (what you hear), and some other variables are all available IIRC.
On a recent project, to save time, I did use the "export as waves" function. I always work out of a new folder on my desktop on every project once I determine it's a viable song. So I saved the file(s) into that folder. One of those waves was a "what you hear" file.
There's a little WAV icon that gets you there IIRC.

In BB, it fails when I try to merge and burn. In older versions 'Merge and Burn' used to allow actually burning a CD from within BiaB and PT/RB. That has not been functional in a long time. Is this what you are referring to? Which version of BB if so? Otherwise you need to merge first, then burn with something other than BiaB after.

Thanks, everyone, for your help. I needed to enter 'sfozando VST' in the Midi/Audio drivers set up box. I can merge and burn, as well. Getting some 'crackling' noises in playback (Audio Box) that I'm trying to figure out now. Thanks again!
