Hi
Thinking of upgrading my ultra plus pak.
Would I be better going all the way to audiophile.
Can someone maybe send me a guitar track on the ordinary (compressed), and the same guitar track on the audiophile, so I could hear for myself a comparison.

If they send it, request both as a .WAV file. If they send .MP3 files, you'll miss the point of the test.

excellent post on that I would be urged to order audio right away.
Tho it is a bit expensive so I would really love to hear a compare, fingers crossed.

Big John, Have a look at the scope output screen capture on this page. A picture's worth a thousand words, and this does articulate such detail. Mind you, the output will also only be as good as your sound system.

I love that picture of the frequency graphs of the WAV versus WMA files just posted by VideoTrack. Even though my hearing is still excellent, it's been about four decades since I could hear anything over the 15,000 Hz where the WMA signal starts to disappear.
