my next problem is after I entered in a song, saved it under "save as ", then clicked the .wav button and saved it to .wav. just like I've always done in my past versions. but in my past versions, everytime I did this, it would show up in my windows media player library, now it doesn't. definitely getting frustrated with the complications of this new version. anybody have any ideas as to whats going on ?
It sounds like Media player was set to automatically read the folder that files were being saved to. Have you changed operating systems recently or installed BIAB to a different folder?
Not at a PC now, but Windows Control Panel has a place to associate file types with the program that will open them. Perhaps the latest Creator update messed this up, but you can easily restore it.

When you click on the Window`s start button (left hand bottom corner), there`s a menu called "Default Programs". That is where you associate given file extensions to programms. Just choose your preferred programm for your wav file from there.
Control Panel allows you to set the default program to open the .wav file:
