http://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/news.php?id=853Last year I was notified here on this forum of a similar deal. I bought an iRigKeys37 for $79 and got the full version of SampleTank3 with it. ST3 alone is normally $199. Then they added some points for discounts on future purchases and over the next few months gave me couple of other free products for being a registered customer. I use ST3 quite a bit in many of my tracks and songs. As an experiment I downloaded a free midi file of Steve Miller Band's Swingtown and used only ST3 as the synth for all instruments and I think it sounds pretty darn good including the vocal oohs. In fact the midi file oohs are in pitch where Steve Miller and his Band sing well out of tune in my opinion. I'm not a keyboard player but I do use the iRigKeys37 once in a while for tapping in some added midi drum beats or filling in a midi melody line, etc,... Very small and light and easy to just plug in the little keyboard and punch something in real quick. Then put it back on the shelf.

I saw this last year and figured I must have read it wrong. But no, you get ST3 for free. You can sell the little keyboard for half price and say you bought ST3 for $35. I'm guessing ST3 was a flop. There's just so much better stuff out there now. Horns are still terrible, not much improvement from ST2. But the rest of it is quite usable, sounds and interface are improved from ST2 and it's also in 64 bit now. Just not up to speed with the competition, which you will pay a whole lot more for. And ST2 worked great with BIAB, hopefully ST3 does as well. I used to make some good tracks with BIAB and ST2's Omnisynth, before the wonderful world of Realtracks changed how I do everything.
