Have you updated to build 466?
BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.

Milt,
Have you tried right-clicking on the BIAB startup shortcut and then selecting "Run as administrator" to see if that makes a difference?
Also, as a double-check, right-click on BIAB startup shortcut, choose "Properties" and check that the 'Target' path for BBW.EXE is correct.

Hey Notes, I tried using # as the filter, but nothing showed up. Nothing happens when I click on one of the Norton categories in the "Choose User Category to display in StylePicker" box ( I tried Norton#EXPANDED). The selected category turns blue, and that's it. For some reason the selected category is not making it from this dialogue to the stylepicker list. Any idea which button at the bottom of the dialogue box would be the right one to push? Thank you very much for your patience. - Make sure your Norton Styles are in the C:\BB folder (you've already done this)
- Make sure the #norton?.ls3 files are in the C:\BB folder
- Make sure these files: #Country-Folk-Nashville-(Norton).txt, #EXPANDED-(Norton).txt, #Hawkesford-(Norton).txt, #Jazz-Fusion-Smooth-(Norton).txt, #Latin-L.Jazz-L.Pop-(Norton).txt, #Misc-Euro-Ethnic-(Norton).txt, and #Pop-Rock-RnB-Blues-(Norton).txt are in the C:\BB\Data\StylePicker\User Categories\Norton folder
- Reboot BiaB
- Open the Style Picker Window
- Click (Slow, Complete) Rebuild Styles List
- Try again
I suspect that some file is not in the right place and Band-in-a-Box simply cannot find it. Notes

Well I spent 40 minutes on the phone with support and it still doesn't work. Noel, thanks for your reply, I always run it as administrator, and i double checked the target path. There are a couple of things on the norton support page I am going to try tomorrow. I may not have the norton files in the proper folder order. How have you guys that have norton and pg extra and bonus files working have your folder hierarchy set? Thanks!

Have you put the Norton files in their own folder in \bb? If so, this won't work. They need to be copied to the \bb directory as individual files.

I appreciate your reply, Noel. If you would clear something up for me. Should the path be c\bb>styles in question, or C\bb>Data>styles in question, or, C\bb>Data>StylePicker>styles in question, or, C\bb>Data>StylePicker>User Categories>styles in question? I've never had this mucch trouble with anything like this before. Thanks again!

Three or four posts back up this thread, Notes Norton gives full instructions on how to install all the different file types. Seeing that he's the one who created these, his advice is the best to follow.
