The Scan for New Dx Plugins option does nothing. Coyote WT and other DXi's are recognized in RB which is installed on the same root hard drive. rharv Veteran Joined: May 2000 Posts: 22,179 Mi., USA	Maybe try clicking the Options button in the Default Synth selection screen and selecting 'Edit DXi Exclusion list'. If Coyote or other DXi's are listed here they will be ignored. Move them back to the other side of the applet. Otherwise, I can say that when I upgraded to 2017, Forte came along for the ride. Both BiaB and RB. So did all my other DXi's. Do you have it installed on another system where you can verify your issue is 2017 and not that particular machine? I ask because since it seems to have been fine for myself and others, it is likely a machine specific issue (fine for most users but not you) This makes it a bit tougher to solve. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!

I don't have this problem on my studio desktop machine w/ Windows 7. btw, I had this same problem on my laptop yesterday before I re-installed the programs. Also, nothing happens when I use scan for new DXi option. The program still doesn't see any DXi's. Last edited by bloc-head; 06/06/17 02:24 PM. I think you are the first person to have an issue with DXi's in years, they always just work automatically. I would contact PG Support. Bob Biab/RB latest build, Win 11 Pro, Ryzen 5 5600 G, 512 Gig SSD, 16 Gigs Ram, Steinberg UR22 MkII, Roland Sonic Cell, Kurzweil PC3, Hammond SK1, Korg PA3XPro, Garritan JABB, Hypercanvas, Sampletank 3, more.

rharv Veteran Joined: May 2000 Posts: 22,179 Mi., USA	Many times, just using TeamViewer (or such) would let othes fix things quickly .. but that involves a certain layer of trust. You have to agree to allow someone to log on to your computer. When it seems to be a system specific issue, as this does, it may need a system specific solution. I'd trust PG support to remote in and take a look for you FWIW. Or even an experienced user here that you trust. It could save a lot of time. It may be something weird like RB is running in Administrator mode (and thus can install DXi plugins to the OS) and BiaB isn't .. or some other weird issue, hard to say. I'd try to get a remote session going with PGMusic Support and see if they see something obvious (to them) on the system. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!

We’ve expanded the Band-in-a-Box® RealTracks library with 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 449-467) across Jazz, Blues, Funk, World, Pop, Rock, Country, Americana, and Praise & Worship—featuring your most requested styles!

Jazz, Blues & World (Sets 449–455):
These RealTracks includes “Soul Jazz” with Neil Swainson (bass), Mike Clark (drums), Charles Treadway (organ), Miles Black (piano), and Brent Mason (guitar).
